-I have played organized hockey since the age of 5. I played boys hockey at the “A” level in the Hockey West Island organization until I was twelve years old but since then, I joined girl’s hockey
–Played AA level for 3 years and this year Midget AAA warriors Lac St Louis
-Always played competitive soccer, being on the Dorval inter-city AA team since I was eligible at the age of seven
-Kuper Flag football player (back up quarterback also) and Rugby
-Strong overall athlete
*If someone were asked about my sports persona, they would say that I am a hard worker on and
off the ice/field and I can be counted on as a team player on and off the ice/field too.
I am unfailingly punctual and consistently present at all events/activities/practices/games.
I am mature, down to earth and see the ice/field well
-I was often asked to help with the younger children at my elementary school (Kindergarten bus monitor and part of the Leadership group)
-I also believe in giving to the larger community. One year, my friend and I booked (and paid) for a table at the fall fair and sold bracelets we created, donating all profits to a charity of the school’s choice. The home and school association then matched our gift. This success then encouraged me to continue fundraising through lemonade stands, crafts and talent shows.
These efforts raised money for the Canadian Tire Children’s foundation. This foundation speaks tome as it supports children throughout Canada who cannot afford the costs of playing organized sports
-I try to help around the Kuper community as much as I can and I often time keep for the boys hockey teams
-In 2019 I was one of 15 girls who went on a humanitarian trip to Costa Rica during spring break
-I volunteered for two years at the Caroline Ouellette Girl’s hockey celebration that takes place during the Christmas holidays. I worked on the ice doing drills with young girls
-Coached a U7 girls soccer team one summer
-Red cross certified babysitter
-Last summer, I was a student volunteer for one week at the West Island Palliative Center.I applied and interviewed.
I was the youngest student selected in a cohort of 12.
