Favorite hockey player: Victor Hedman

Before Kuper:

I played hockey in the Dollard region for 5 to 6 years, and two of those were with my younger brother. In Atom AA, I was chosen as captain for the team which is something I am very proud of. I loved playing for my hometown, and we were fortunate because we had some terrific out-of-town tournaments. Last year, I played for École Des Sources with my brother as well. We also had many fantastic road trips, and I did get a chance to see many new parts of Quebec I had not heard of before. This team was also very special because there were three sets of brothers on it, which is something I will most likely never experience again.

Brief bio while at Kuper:

I am currently a grade 7 student at Kuper Academy. I am also a defenseman on the Sec 1 hockey team. Aside from hockey, I do look forward to participating in the Cross Country race, and hopefully joining the Track & Field team in the spring. I am excited about participating in community service, be it through the We Commity or Green Team, and I would enjoy signing up for various groups, for example, The Auto Club. I have had an interest in cars for as long as I can remember.

After Kuper:

Education is very important in my family. My grandparents were all teachers, and my parents are both dentists. I plan to continue my education at my future colleges and then universities, while hopefully participating in their respective hockey programs. However, presently, I am focusing on making the most out of my next years here at Kuper.

Brief family blurb:

I live in DDO with my two parents, Wade Boroff and Lisa McBride, and my one younger brother, Matt. My brother currently goes to school at Westpark Elementary, and plays school hockey for École Des Sources. My parents own a dental practice, situated in the West Island, named Westdent. We have one cat named Sandy. When we are not in a rink, we enjoy skiing or hiking together.
